Lenaya and I had a delicious carby lunch at Antonio’s Pizzaria with our awesome Cruise Director. Then met up with Bretty to play at the arcade! We won some funny prizes and bowled!
We biked 10 miles today from the wharf across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito!!!! We had such a great day! The weather was amazing 75 degrees and sunny!! After walking around Sausalito we took the ferry back to the wharf and got some fish and chips. Finally ending the day on board the Century in the Persian Gardens Spa tonight was pure “Modern Luxuryyyyyyyy!”
A couple of us had a good little breakfast in Puerto Rico followed by souvenir shopping. Emily and I bought more dresses, bikinis (seen below), and accessories that we don’t need of course. We got some Badass Coffee which is a blend of Hawaiian and Puerto Rican coffee frozen? I think. Omg it was badass!!! 😉 Took some photos on the bow of the ship with a good view of the fortress! Pretty neat!
Our last time in Turks and Caicos we made sandcastles at a little resort beach. This tiny island has such a small population. It was weird and cloudy!! We walked to a different crew hangout spot and had burgers. Afterward we swam out to the big floaty trampolines and icebergs and had a fun time jumping and climbing in the water!!!
We had a phenomenal day in Costa Rica zip lining through the rainforest! I have zip lined before on Catalina Island but this was way cooler! There were 12 zip lines and the scenery was breathtaking! We saw leaf cutter ants taking branches and seeds to their little ant kingdom and a scarlet macaw! I had great company of course and it was Brett’s first time zip lining! We looooove itttttt!!!!!!
Atlantis was one of my favorite days this contract!! I had remembered seeing the commercials about it on tv when I was in 4th grade and I wanted to go so bad!! Well we did it! And we did that crazy Mayan pyramid Leap of Faith slide. It was so scary!!! I thought I was going to drown the whole time!!!!! Lol. We survived and the other slides were really fun too. We ate overpriced burgers and enjoyed the sun and the scenery. Atlantis resort is the only thing on the little peninsula or whatever it is and you look out from the top of a slide and it’s a gorgeous bay in the Bahamas. White sand and blue water. Le gorg!!!
Another fabulous day in San Fran!!!! We took the muni to Haight and Ashbury where all the hippies live! Hahaha it was amazing. We went to La Boulange for brunch and the coffee is served in bowls, BOWLS! It was scrumptious. We walked down to Haight and Ashbury and looked in 10 different vintage shops. Lenaya bought me some psychedelic heart shaped sunglasses. The Victorian houses around that area are expensive but adorable. My new goal in life is to live there!!! I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to be back next week!!
