Obsessed with these ballet pink Repetto flats I found on www.parisgrenoble.com blog. They look incredibly comfy and perfect for spring and summer!
Do you have a pair of Repetto flats? What is your favorite color?
Paint the Night has been going pretty well. My back is in pain most hours of the day, so that has been a little stressful. But it has been so much fun performing for the guests. On my opening night of Paint the Night I was dancing in front of a little girl and she was sitting cross legged on the edge of the curb. She was so excited she was sitting up so tall and I could see my lit up reflection in her sparkling eyes. It was so magical and I will never forget it. She was in awe, of me! I feel like such a small part of this huge parade most of the time. Especially backstage when trivial issues are blown out of proportion. These little things upstage the fact that I am SO important out there and just a smile makes these kids’ days.
Any questions? Here is a great article that outlines the best spots to view the parade and how to see the fireworks. https://www.undercovertourist.com/blog/best-viewing-paint-night-parade-disneyland/
I am so looking forward to celebrating Disneyland’s 60th anniversary!! We have new fireworks, World of Color, a new castle draped in diamonds, and a new electrical parade! Paint the Night Electrical Parade is coming to Disneyland from Hong Kong! It’s gonna be awesome!! Hope to see you all during the next exciting year!
Rehearsals with my new Celebrity Century cast have been crazy!! We have been at it non stop 6 days a week, 8 hours a day, learning 3 production shows!!!! It is definitely a lot harder than I thought it would be!!! However, our cast is amazing and we had so much fun hanging out together on Freemont Street in Las Vegas for Halloween!! We were the three hocus pocus witches, or, just a red head, brunette, and a blonde, so it happened to work out! We were quite the hit on Freemont St and had random people asking to take pictures with us every minute of the night!!! hahahaha The Century isn’t going to know what hit it!!! :p (oooooo bad cruise ship joke……… lol)
The Celebrity Century Cast of 2013-14 #ethinicmovements in our epic spliced together Target/dancer costumes.
Dancing atop a glowing RV overlooking the rave on East Freemont after the Halloween parade. No big deal… (jk. it WAS a big deal and There was a fire breathing dragon float to my left!)
Doin our 80s rock moves and deep lunges. We were into it. People were mildly amused.
We met a real witch with a real fat rat!!! EHEHEHEHE
Best costumes of the night. So creepy!!!!!!
Us outside after one of our 8 hour rehearsals this week!!
Tonight we went to see Megan in her last performance in Tony and Tina’s Wedding at Bally’s Las Vegas as The Nun before she leaves with us as a singer in our cast on the ship! Was a fun time!!
I can’t wait to go on the ship and hang out on the beaches of Hawaii, Bahamas, Mexico and spend 5 months with these crazy sons of bitches. It’s gonna be a blast!!!!!!!!!!! 😀
Well…I would like to preface saying my last day at the Jubes was a little bit busy sooo I kind of forgot that I had wanted to film my whole makeup process…so I started in the middle, cut out the middle, but managed to get my lips and lashes filmed.
Well… I would also like to say that I am just glad I got a little bit of my experience at the jubes on video. I also love the conversations that were going on in the dressing room while I did my makeup so Ill include those in a future video.
This one is just quick to show a little of what the makeup process is: quite intensive in heavy application, a la drag queen makeup, but we can really get it all done in less than 10 minutes. We then have 3 minutes to put on underwear, fishnets, LaDuca silver heels, underwire. Then at 2 minutes you put on gloves, necklace, earrings, bracelets, skirt, and you’re on!
I use all MAC makeup, because we get a little discount, but my lipstick is Walmart Retro Red for 99 cents!!!!! LOL. “Get that classic showgirl red from your local Walmart!” Cracks me up.
Our huge lashes are “special order” from who knows where in Asia and each showgirl has to pay $4 per set to the Jubilee office. Ridiculous. Some girls use one pair per 6 months, I think I went through 6 pairs in 3 contracts, so 1 pair every 3 months.
Thanks for readin’!
Can’t believe this day is here already! Looking a little too happy in the pic above that I only have one more Top Hat to do! We have one last show tomorrow then a party at Sugar Factory and its allllllll over, for now! Feeling a little bit weepy that I won’t be a showgirl anymore with the best cast on the planet, but I’m not going to miss climbing 1700 stairs a night! Gonna miss my nudies, tall and short, so much. The cast, the crew, wardrobe, crazy people, nice people, dramatic people, the best people, my favorite people, the funniest people. All of them work here at the Jubes and I am so thankful to have spent hours and hours laughing and dancing with all of you. I know I’ve already written all this…but I know I’m going to be a sobbing mess tomorrow. Im not good at goodbyes! I love the show a lot and being in it, but it is very, very tiring. And I honestly can’t do another 6 months of that choreo! 😉 Maybe break it up with a couple cruise contracts, and come back for a little while. We’ll see. 🙂 Gonna get a little sleep and then bust out one last fantastic show at the longest running show on the Las Vegas Strip as a topless showgirl in Jubilee! Nighty night.
