I hope everyone is having a fabulous day off. Michael and I went to the Exposition Rose Garden across from USC last week. The views were gorgeous and every rose had a different scent. It was like walking through the Queen of Hearts’ garden in Alice In Wonderland. Definitely go if you havn’t seen this place. Very cool. We enjoyed sandwiches and drinks on a cute little white bench under a gazebo in the middle of thousands of roses.
Wooohoooo!!!! I’m done with college! Graduation day was amazing and I had such a great time!! Walking down the procession line got me a little teary eyed. Also giving my dad a hug after my ceremony was a real tear-jerker. :p I’m so happy I got to sit with my friends at graduation and then celebrate after, and also the next day, and the next. hehe! The free time is amazing and I am looking forward to sleeping in and doing nothing. Thank you so much to everyone for your well wishes, sweet cards, and gifts. Thank you to my boyfriend Michael for coming to all of my celebrations and taking lots of pictures. Thanks to my sister for the Lady Gaga CD and coming to my ceremony. Most of all, thank you to my parents who paid for my college education. WOW! That is the biggest gift I could ever ask for. I love you both very much. 🙂
I can’t believe I am graduating from college tomorrow. The next time I will post I will be a graduate! Woo hoo!! I have been waiting and praying for this day since day 1. I really have
enjoyed pushed through the past four years. Don’t get me wrong, I still had tons of fun outside of class with Leanna (above) and lots of other friends. I would just prefer to have fun without all the essays, tests, and nasty teachers. No, my teachers were cool. Some of them. My favorite quote from Bruce Lansky’s book No More Homework! No more tests! is:
“No more pencils!
No more books!
No more teachers’
I think about this every summer, but now it really applies. Hooray! I’m graduating Cum Laude from California State University Long Beach with an overall GPA of 3.5 and a 3.8 GPA for this semester. Couldn’t quite hit a 4.0 three times in a row. Honestly, Journalism 110 was a killer! I was thinking, “PUHLEEZE just give me a B! I will be so happy!” So, I am happy.
Tomorrow will be very exciting and I hope it all goes smoothly! I can’t wait! Feelin’ good, feelin’ fine, feelin’ fresh. CSULB COMMENCEMENT, HERE WE COME!!!!!
Keepin’ it easy breezy today in the good ol’ OC. I had a relatively easy day but full of very social events. Got a pedicure with my bff, drove up to LA for a BBQ get to gether, and then back down to OC for my bff’s graduation party. By the end of the day we were exhausted and tired of talking to so many people! However, it was a very fun day. I wore this new swing top with flowers from F21. Still a bit too nippy in OC to start wearing summer gear so I had to throw on my stand by sweater. Still cute though. Can’t wait to go pick up Born This Way tomorrow. Go support Lady Gaga and buy the new album!
Got this white burn out tee at Foreign Exchange the other day. I love its see-thru-ness and the back is extra long with see-thru stripes. I’m wearing my Steve Madden lace up booties and Ray Ban sunglasses. Tomorrow I have my last day of finals EVER! You guys don’t understand how I excited I am. Finally I’ll be done with writing papers and can focus on my dance career. Who knows if I’ll get one, but I really want to try with my heart of hearts. I’m all signed up for unlimited classes at my studio which is awesome. Can’t wait for three hours of exercise tonight.
I really want to get a cross tee and I love both of these, especially the top one. Both are by Dimepiece. Super cool company that I had the chance to talk with at Market week a couple months ago. These tees are pretty reasonably priced at $40.00 each. Not too bad for a nice looking garment, and as a bonus, they’re based in LA. Just click the pics above to shop. I love the grey long top. It would be so versatile. Their spring 2011 look book is full of crosses:
